PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a furnace monitor camera system by which an optical fiber can surely be cooled and which can accurately monitor a combustion state without the need for blowing a coolant into a furnace. SOLUTION: The furnace monitor camera system monitors a combustion state in a high temperature furnace. In the camera system, a plurality of optical fibers are bundled, an optical fiber scope 2 whose one end is connected to a television camera 1 and the other end is fitted with a lens 3 is contained in a middle cylinder 4 whose tip is fitted with a quartz glass plate 5, and a 1st cooling cylinder 6 cooling the middle cylinder by cooling water 10 is placed around the middle cylinder. Furthermore, a 2nd cooling cylinder 7 cooling the 1st cooling cylinder by cooling water is arranged around the 1st cooling cylinder and they are inserted to a hole 8a provided to a furnace wall 8.
