PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas heating cooker that has a high heating power, can be started up quickly and can be used conveniently and safely. SOLUTION: There is provided a combustion chamber 2 with an opened upper surface in a flat casing 1 capable of placed on a table and the like and there is disposed a gas burner 3 in the combustion chamber 2. There is further provided an instrument holding section 5 over an upper surface opening in the combustion chamber 2 for holding over the upper surface opening in the combustion chamber 2 a roasting cooking late on a hot plate and a roasting cooking plate 4a and a cooking instrument 4 such as a pan for food served in the pot disposed to cover substantially the entire surface of the upper surface opening over the same in the combustion chamber 2 across the upper surface opening in the combustion chamber 2. There is furthermore provided in the casing 1 an exhaust gas passage 6 for exhausting combustion exhaust gas outside the casing 1 from the inside of the combustion chamber 2.
