PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a full-automatic washing and drying machine of a compact shape by allowing hot air to pass through a passage circulating a blower, a heater, a washing and dehydrating tub and a heat exchange in a washing machine automatically executing from washing to drying and adopting the heat exchange of air-cooling type. SOLUTION: In the washing and drying machine, hot air by the blower 33 and the heater 32 forms the passage circulating the blower 33, the washing and dehydrating tub 25, the heat exchange 31, the heater 32 and the blower 33, and the heat exchange of air-cooling type is adopted. Since the heat exchange of air-cooling type is adopted, the whole constitution is made compact and execution from washing to drying is fully automated in the state of unnecessitating many additional parts.
