PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel for fishing use enabling a spool to be rotated smoothly and stably through suppressing spool shake of a spool shaft to a minimum. SOLUTION: This spinning reel has a spool shaft 8 with its tip mounted with a drag mechanism D1, a spool S1 mounted on the spool shaft, and drag washers Wa, Wb, Wc, Wd mutually superposed with their centers penetrated with the spool shaft 8; wherein one of the drag washers Wa, Wb, Wc, Wd or the spool 1 is furnished with cylindrical parts 9f, Wc1x, Wbx, Wax penetrated through these drag washers and engageable on the spool shaft 8, and these cylindrical parts have lengths substantially compatible with the total thickness of the drag washers Wa, Wb, Wc, Wd, respectively.
