PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seeding tool effective for improving the accuracy of seeding work and increasing the yield of crop per unit area without applying much physical load on the worker in the seeding or fertilization on a field. SOLUTION: The objective seeding tool has the following principal constitution. A metering cup 4 composed of a normally closed shutter 4b and a seed receiving member 4c is attached below a seed releasing port of a hopper 1, the hopper 1 is made to be slidable relative to the metering cup 4, a field seeding member 6 and an openable shutter 6b are placed at the lower end of a pipe 5 fixed to the metering cup 4 and a definite amount of seeds 3 are released on the field by sliding the hopper 1 and the metering cup 4 and opening the shutter 4b of the metering cup 4 and the openable shutter 6b.
