PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the number of parts of the device and to improve the device performance by respectively and independently adjusting the part requiring adjusted mounting and directly mounting these parts to a device casing by using a fixing method having electrical conductivity. SOLUTION: Engaging holes 32, 33, 36, 37, 42, 43, etc., for engaging the connecting pins 30 and 31 of a detector 2, the connecting pins 34 and 35 of a detector 3, the connecting pin 38 of a laser holder 5, the connecting pins 40 and 41 of a driver 6, the connecting pin 45 of an actuator 13, etc., and fixing the respective parts are constituted in the casing 1 of the optical pickup device. Casing wiring 20, 21, 22, 23, etc., which are signal transmission means for transmitting various necessary signals through the respective engaging holes are disposed in the casing 1. The casing 1 plays a role equal to the role of one kind of a circuit board. The connecting pins of the respective parts engage the respective engaging holes of the casing 1 and are fixed by conductive coupling means, such as solder, by which the transmission and reception of the various necessary signals through the signal transmission means in the casing 1 are made possible. |
