PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively restrain the variation of profile of a strip during casting. SOLUTION: Both of casting rolls 16 can be made to deviate with each of roll deviating devices 110, 111 and the one side of the casting roll 16 is restrained so as not to be movable to the whole body in the lateral direction and the other side thereof is constituted so as to be movable in the lateral direction against a spring deviating force. Further, the fixed compression of the deviating spring 112 (compressive spring means) can be made to keep regardless of the movement in the lateral direction of a roll supporting part 104 by copying the movement of a thrust transmission structure 122 connected with the corresponding roll cassette 13 (movable roll carrier).
