PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an excellent shift change operation even when a shift lever goes around a rear side of a steering wheel when operating the shift lever. SOLUTION: An angleθ2 that a shift rotary shaft 32 forms with a horizontal surface D is made larger than an angleθ1 that a steering column shaft 20 forms with the horizontal surface D. A plane including an oscillation locus of a shift lever 16 is inclined to a rotation surface of a steering wheel 12 in a prescribed angle front direction. As a result, as the shift lever 16 approaches an upper tip part of the steering wheel 12, the shift lever 16 moves in a direction away from the steering wheel 12 and operation space of the shift lever 16 is secured.
