摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply water for lowering the temperature of the steam to be supplied to a turbine gland part even at the abnormal time like a complete outage of an electric power plant, in a gland steam temperature lowering device for a turbine. SOLUTION: Steam is supplied to gland parts 24a, 24b, 25a, 25b of a high pressure turbine 20 and a low pressure turbine 22 via a supply pipe 26 and is discharged outside through piping 27, while an outflow of the steam from the inside of casings 21, 23 to the outside as well as an inflow of air from the outside into the inside are prevented. Steam 29 within a temperature lowering device 28 is supplied with water by a pump 32 and supplied to the gland parts after lowering its temperature. The temperature lowering tank is supplied with N2 gas from either an N2 cylinder or an N2 seal system and is kept in a pressurized state, so that, by opening an opening/closing valve 6 at the abnormal time, the pressurized and temperature-lowering water is supplied to the temperature lowering device 28. The control of valves 3, 4, 5 may be exercised automatically or manually at a control part 10.
