PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pachinko machine capable of detecting the case when a ball entered within a big prize-winning port blocks the port and is not discharged normally from the big prize-winning port. SOLUTION: When the number of prize-winning ball detected by prize-winning detectors 25a, 25b and the number of discharged balls detected by residual ball detectors 33a, 33b are compared with each other. When the number of the prize-winning balls and the number of the discharged balls are not coincident with each other at the point of the time when a prescribed period passes after a variable prize-winning ball device 20 comes into a first state (open state), this is judged to be abnormal. Thus, since the noncoincidence of the number of the prize-winning balls and the number of the discharged balls is detected as abnormality in the case of this though the prescribed period passes after the device 20 comes into the first state, clogging of the inside of the device 20 is detected as abnormality.
