PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pachinko machine which can detect the case when a ball entered within a big prize-winning port blocks the port and is not discharged normally from the large prize-winning port and which can easily judge its cause. SOLUTION: When the number of prize-winning ball detected by prize-winning detectors 25a, 25b and the number of discharged balls detected by residual ball detectors 33a, 33b are compared with each other. When the number of the prize-wining balls and the number of the discharged balls are not coincident with each other at the point of the time when a prescribed period passes after a variable prize-winning ball device 20 comes into a first state (open state), this unequal comparison is judged to be abnormal and then the number of errors between the number of prize-winning balls and the number of the discharged balls is displayed in a recognizable state. Since in the case of noncoincidence of the prize-winning balls and the number of the discharged balls, the noncoincidence is detected as abnormality and the number of errors between both of the numbers is repeated, the generation of abnormality can be detected and it is easy to judge whether the cause is clogging with balls or abnormality is generated excepting for it.
