PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid entering of soups when a part of a bowl-like container is folded to form it. SOLUTION: In this apparatus, a thermoplastic resin sheet is expanded at a recessed part for forming a rim of the bottom of a bowl continuing from the opening of the bottom of the bowl of a female mold 52 but the bottom mold 65 for the bottom of the bowl is immediately made up toward the opening of the bottom of the bowl and the thermoplastic resin sheets are brought into intimate contact with each other and are fused and as the result, gap is not generated. In addition, when the thermoplastic resin sheet is expanded in the female mold as the primary molding and is brought into contact with the wall face of the inner periphery, the thermoplastic resin sheet enters into the longitudinal channels 56 formed on the peripheral part of the trunk and when it is switched to a cooling male mold 20 and it is pushed into a main mold, the sheet which does not completely enter into the longitudinal channels 56 is filled by pressure and the gap generated on the inner peripheral face is enclosed while ribs are formed. |
