PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyarylene sulfide resin composition excellent in moldability, suitable for molding with low temperature mold by compounding a specific aromatic polyether oligomer to a polyarylene sulfide resin. SOLUTION: The composition is obtained by compounding (B) 0.1-10 pts.wt of the aromatic polyether oligomer expressed by formula (n is 2-15; X1-X4 are each H or a 1-8C alkyl; R is H, phenyl, an alkyl or an acetyl) per 100 pts.wt of (A) the polyarylene sulfide resin, preferably, a substantially linear chain high molecular weight polyphenylene sulfide homopolymer (PPS) comprising para-phenylene sulfide as the repeating unit or a PPS copolymer comprising para-phenylene sulfide as the principal repeating unit and <= 20 mol% of metha- phenylene sulfide.
