PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a metal can for beverage, in the constitution of which a part of a tab and a part of top wall are not separated from the can when a drinking hole is opened, the force required when the drinking hole is opened is small and a beverage inside is hard to overflow when the drinking hole is opened in the state of leaning the can. SOLUTION: A hollow U-shaped score line for forming a straw inserting hole is formed on a top wall, and a tab 5 is set on the inside of a bending section of the hollow U-shaped score line on the top wall. When the tab 5 is drawn, the inner section of the hollow U-shaped score line is cut up from the top wall to open the straw inserting hole 2c. It is good to form the score line on a hollow central section of the top wall. A neck section 2a is formed and installed removably in the state of winding a straw 4 on the neck section 2a.
