PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small connector that is hardly broken. SOLUTION: In relation to a connector composed of: a connector plug 100 provided with an outer cylinder having a female contact 107 stored in its axial center; and a connector socket 200 provided with a cylindrical receiving part 209 for receiving the outer cylinder 112, and a pin contact 207 projecting into and supported at the axial center of the receiving part 209; this connector has a structure wherein spring pieces 103A, 103B are formed on the circumference of the outer cylinder 12, the spring pieces 103A, 103B are entered into the inside of the receiving part 209 of the connector socket side, and locking pawls 104A, 104B formed at free ends of the spring pieces are engaged with rectangular holes 204A, 204B formed in the receiving part 209, so that a locked state is provided, an inclined surface P is formed on each of the locking pawls 104A, 104B oppositely to one side of the circumferential direction, and the connector can be released from the locked state by the presence of the inclined surfaces P.
