PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program preparing device with which the code class of a prepared program can be visually confirmed. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a display, a storage means for storing a prepared program, a code identification information buffer 26 for storing code class information provided by analyzing the program stored in the storage means, a color managing file 28 for storing color numbers for displaying a code class to be used for the program so that the code can be visually confirmed and a means for displaying this code class information and the code of the program corresponding to the color number stored in the color managing file 28 on the display so that the codes can be confirmed. Thus, the confirmation efficiency of the program can be improved.
