PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech-operated controllable camera surely realizing a specified function as necessary, easily used, restraining the wasteful power consumption without spoiling oprability and contributing to power saving. SOLUTION: The camera 200 is the speech-operated controllable camera executing specified camera action corresponding to a speech command given as speech by a photographer, includes a manual operation member 44, and constituted so that the speech command by a speech input circuit 42 can be inputted only while the member 44 is operated.
