PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a mold for molding a resin durable to the molding of a resin containing carbon black and others. SOLUTION: A process in which the first gas ions are injected on the surface of a mold base material and a process in which by injecting the first gas ions or the second gas ions different from the first gas ions on the surface of the mold base material in a nitrogen atmosphere while titanium is being vapor- deposited, a mixture film containing at least two compounds selected from TiN, Ti2N, and Ti3N is formed are provided to form a mold. Since the film has high rigidity and good adhesion to the mold base material, the durability of the film is improved.
