PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the marking work which is carried out by projecting laser beams. SOLUTION: A device for marking by projecting light can easily show continuous linear marking lines with laser beams in both horizontal and vertical directions by rotating light projecting tools 4 and 5. The tool 4 is positioned in the main body 2 of the device in such a way that the tool 4 can rotate around the vertical axis of the device at a high speed and the tool 5 is also positioned in the main body 2 in such a way that the tool 5 can rotate around the horizontal axis. Therefore, horizontal and vertical marking work and inspections can be carried out easily, because continuous linear marking lines can be shown by rotating the light projecting tools 4 and 5 at high speeds.
