PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum valve, wherein when the vacuum degree of a vacuum sewer pipe is not enough, the vacuum valve is not surely operated to prevent the flow of soil water into a conduit in a vacuum down state, a water block is prevented and recovery during vacuum degree recovery is promoted, an unstable vacuum valve operation is prevented when vacuum pressure is low, and the trouble of dirt biting is prevented. SOLUTION: In a vacuum valve provided in the vacuum valve unit of a vacuum sewage system, a pressing body ball 472 provided in the cylindrical groove 471 of a bearing 47 presses the outer peripheral surface of a valve rod 44 to regulate the sliding start of the valve rod 44, and the valve rod 44 is prevented from sliding before a vacuum pressure applied to vacuum valve controller exceeds a fixed value.
