PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the installation structure of a gate column 3 capable of adhering and installing the gate column 3 on the end 6 of a fence or the like. SOLUTION: A screw hole 33 is integrally formed at a position intersected by a pair of connection pieces 32 projected toward inward from an inner wall face in the corner part of a gate column 3, a base plate is formed in almost the same width as that of the gate column 3, interior length is formed larger than that of the gate column 3, a through hole corresponding to the position of the screw hole 33 of the gate column 3 is drilled in the base plate 1, a tapping screw inserted n the through hole is screwed in the screw hole 33 to fix the base plate 1 on the lower end of the gate column 3, and a part projected from the lower end of the gate column 3 in the interior direction of the base plate 1 is connected to an anchor member 4.
