PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configure a stereoscopic vision picture or the like based on a photograph taken in the past. SOLUTION: Let an image IM be a right eye image, then it is considered that a left eye image is nearly equal to an image obtained by photographing the same image IM when a position of a camera is moved to a point PB placed slightly to the left from a center point PA of the image IM. The left eye image in this case can be obtained by rotating the center point PA of the original image IM so as to be seen from the center point PB of the left eye image and modifying the image. Furthermore, in this case, the modification rate of the image closer to the center point is set smaller and the modification rate of the image nearer the frame of the image IM is set higher. Thus, a moving amount of the image closer to the camera is increased, resulting that the image with a display effect can be obtained nearly equal to that when the camera photographing the original image IM is left to the left while aiming at the same object, that is, the camera is moved to the left eye position. |
