PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire conductor for a harness having sufficient conductivity and strength, preventing severance of fine wires, and having suitable flexibility. SOLUTION: The wire conductor 1 for a harness has a strand 5 formed by stranding element wires 3 around a core wire 2. The core wire 2 is formed from beryllium copper, and the element wires 3 stranded around the core wire 2 are formed from annealed copper. The wire conductor 1 for a harness has a strand formed by stranding 6, 12, or 18 element wires 3 around the core wire 2. Half of the element wires 3a stranded around the core wire 2 are formed from beryllium copper, and the other element wires 3b stranded around the core wire 2 and the core wire 2 are formed from annealed copper. The element wires 3a of beryllium copper and the element wires 3b of annealed copper are alternately arranged around the core wire 2.
