PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject sintered compact with such a practice as to diminish warpage development during its burning operation and keep the roundness of the cylindrical form high. SOLUTION: This sintered compact is obtained by burning a continuous cylindrical ceramic molded form 4, wherein the upper end of the molded form 4 is disposed with a setter 5 of a specified design, thereby an inclination tending to occur during the burning operation can be inhibited, preventing warpage or deformation of this sintered compact. If the lower end of the molded form 4 is also disposed with a 2nd setter 3 of a specified design and the molded form 4 is burned, prevention of such warpage or deformation becomes more effective. |
