PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous operation, damage, deterioration due to static electricity in a time piece with a structure allowing easy penetration by static electricity by arranging an electrostatic discharging pattern on a circuit board in a power generating means and providing an air discharging layer additionally. SOLUTION: This electronic time piece comprising a secondary battery arranged inside the clock and charged from the outside is provided with an electrostatic discharging pattern 115 and an air discharging layer 116. The electrostatic discharging pattern 115 with a discharge interval of about 0.5-2.5 mm is built in a heat generator 104, for example, and is constructed so as to be brought into direct contact with first and second external electrodes 101, 107 maximally via its upper and lower electrodes. The air discharging layer 116 constructed by bringing an insulative material having a space serving as a discharging layer into contact with a metal plate and the like, for example, is arranged between the first and second external electrodes 101, 107. Either of the electrostatic discharging pattern 115 and the air discharging layer 116 lets electric energy flow through a short route so as to discharge it to the atmosphere for preventing intake of electric energy into a clock circuit. |
