PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely analyze the cause of a fault corresponding to an erroneous operation while suppressing increase in a signal processing scale and a device scale. SOLUTION: A digital tuner basic circuit 10 gives an NTSC composite signal So obtained by demodulating a received signal Si to a monitor. An error history information recording processing section 20 outputs error status data D1-D3 in erroneous operations for reception/demodulation, control signal separation/ extraction and MPEG decoding by discrete circuits (a latch circuit, three edge detection circuits, a 4-input OR circuit, a counter, an R/W address generating section). Furthermore, the processing section 20 generates date and time information every time the error status data D1-D3 take place. A nonvolatile memory 36 stores error history data of the error status data D1-D3 and the date and time information. Thus, the processing load of a built-in CPU 15 is relieved and the error history information can be recorded. |
