PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject nanoemulsion which can easily be prepared, has excellent cosmetic characteristics and can efficiently carry active ingredients, by adding a specific surfactant and a specific oil in a specified ratio. SOLUTION: This nanoemulsion contains an oil phase which is dispersed in an aqueous phase and comprises small oil drops having a number-average diameter of <10 nm. Therein, the nanoemulsion contains (A) at least one surfactant selected from alkoxylated alkenyl succinates and the alkoxylated alkenyl succinates of (methyl)glucose (for example, hexadecenyl succinate 18EO) and (B) at least one oil having a mol.wt. of >=400 (for example, an oil originated from an animal or a plant, a mineral oil, a synthetic oil or a silicone oil) in a component A:B weight ratio of 1:2 to 1:10. The contents of the components A and B are preferably 0.2-15 wt.% and 2-40 wt.%, respectively, based on the total amount of the nanoemulsion.
