PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber burr inspection instrument which can exhibit excellent inspection accuracy through a relatively simple structure and can be handled relatively easily. SOLUTION: A rubber burr inspection instrument for rubber burrs adhering to the surface of a work 51 comprises a member 12 being pressed against the surface of the work 51, means 2 for rotating any one of the work 51 or the member 12 being pressed, and means 21 for detecting frictional rotation of the other of the work 51 or the member 12 when one of them is rotated.
