PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect photographed picture information in spite of a failure in printing by recording picture information in a recording medium without printing when it is decided that the remainder of a power source is not sufficient to print at the time of directly printing. SOLUTION: A power source part 60 supplies prescribed voltage to each circuit through a power source circuit 62 by using a battery 61 as a main power source. Then, a battery power quantity detecting circuit for detecting the remainder of the battery 61 in real time is provided. Photographing operation is executed first and a power source remainder check is continually executed to decide whether or not there is the remainder of the power source sufficient to print out. In the case of judging that the remainder of the power source is sufficient, printing operation is executed but in the case of deciding that the remainder of the power source is not sufficient, printing operation is not executed but recording operation to a recording medium is executed. All the pieces of picture information to be directly printed are not recorded in the recording medium but only picture information which is erroneously printed is recorded in this way.
