PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installing tool having a function capable of easily installing a large concrete block in a prescribed position by making a fine adjustment and an installing construction method using this when installing the large concrete block produced in a factory such as a box culvert, a gate- shaped culvert, a waterway and a retaining wall having weight of about 1 to 10 (t) on footing concrete at a job site. SOLUTION: In a hydraulic jack having a claw, two rollers 16 are installed on the tip of a jack baseboard 45, a height adjusting projection 18 is installed by one piece on the other end bottom surface, and a U-shaped member 14 oppositely provided with a bolt 13 is integrally molded on the tip of a Z-shaped claw part 11. An installing tool and an installing construction method are composed of a hydraulic jack by placing a roller part 20 installed on a back face of an L-shaped lifting member 2 on the U-shaped member and a support plate board 3 installing a setscrew 17 for moving the jack baseboard in an end part and having a cutout part 21 adjusted to a shape of a tip part of the lifting member in the other end part to be formed by arranging the hydraulic jack on the support plate board.
