PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding band which can not create an alterable condition such as 'insertion from an opposite side with a wrong face', 'insertion from a right side with a wrong face', or 'insertion from an opposite side with a right face'. SOLUTION: A tube part 3 forming an insertion hole 33 is formed at the base 11 of a band 1. A tab piece 4 is provided on the tube part 3. On the back face of the band 1, many tab parts 5 are formed in a line in a saw teeth condition. A protrusion 6 is provided at a place offset near the tip end of the band 1 surface. A recess 7 where the protrusion 6 passes when the band 1 is properly inserted in the insertion hole is provided at a place offset in the width direction of the insertion hole 33.
