PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seaming technology capable of improving productivity, quality of a seamed part and forming a high sealing seamed part. SOLUTION: In a seaming method to seam a can top 4 to an opening part of a square can body 2 by a seam machine arranged with a seaming cam and a seaming chuck, the can top, in which a whole peripheral edge part is die curled, is used for a can top 4, the seaming cam is of a flange type seaming cam, the seaming chuck is of a seaming chuck having straight four sides and four corner parts between sides.
