PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate and recover gypsum and surface paper which are the main components of a gypsum board. SOLUTION: A cutter 114, a crushing rollers 10, and a crushing roller 11 are installed in turn under a hopper 2. One roller 10A, 11A of each roller 10, 11 is made the movable side and spring-biased toward the other adjacent roller 10B, 11B, In the lower crushing roller 11, the rollers 11A, 11B of a pair are rotated reversely to each other with a prescribed speed difference kept. A classifier 17 for sifting a crushed raw material is installed under the roller 11. When a gypsum board as the raw material is charged into the hopper 2, it is crushed into chips by the cutter 114, the chips are re-crushed by the rollers 10, 11 to be separated into gypsum and surface paper, which are sifted and recovered by kind by the classifier 17.
