PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the properties of a composition before crosslinking, particularly its resistance stability at the time of heating without damaging its temperature self-controlling by blending and crosslinking a styrene-butadiene rubber and the like. SOLUTION: The temperature self-control heating element composition is formed by radiatively crosslinking a styrene-butadiene rubber with a composition prepared by blending and kneading a conductive substance and a thermoplastic elastomer compatible and co-crosslinkable with the styrene-butadiene rubber together. It is preferable to use a solution-polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber as the styrene-butadiene rubber. The thermoplastic elastomer is selected from the group consisting of styrene-isoprene-styrene block polymers, styrene- butadiene-styrene block polymers, hydrogen ated styrene-isoprene-styrene copolymers, and hydrogen ated styrene-butadiene-styrene copolymers. Electrodes 2 arranged on a PET film 1 is covered with a heating element 3 made of the temperature self-control heating element composition.
