PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic variable color lighting system to automatically vary a color obtained by color mixture in a globe over the elapsed time. SOLUTION: This automatic variable color lighting system is to vary illumination light having a color obtained by an output of each emitter over the elapsed time, by variably driving luminous intensity of three kinds of emitters with a fixed time relation kept. It includes first, second and third emitters 12, 13, 14 provided in proximate or the same emitter containers to emit light with first, second and third colors respectively. First, second and third driving circuits 9, 10, 11 have variable driving outputs, and drive the first, second and third emitters 12, 13, 14 respectively. A means of control 8 varies an output of each driving circuit with a fixed time relation kept. Main colors of the first, second and third emitters are able to have red(R) light, green(G) light and blue(B) light as a main component respectively.
