<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent turning of a cam shaft in a lock body by providing a closing member which is removed from between a blocking member and the engagement part caused by that a key cylinder is removed from the lock body so as to allow movement of a lock pin to engage with an engaging hole. SOLUTION: When a side of key cylinder is broken, a lock body 12 is broken at a broken groove part 12, and a second inner cavity portion containing a locking step is removed together with the key cylinder. However, when a front part is removed form the locking step of the body 12, a closing plate is removed together with the locking step from between a lock pin 42 and a hole engaging therewith 40. Thereby, the pin 42 is pushed by a coil spring 43 to move a side of cam shaft 14 and engages with the hole 40. Accordingly, the cam shaft 14 is surely prevented from turning, and then a lock bar 16 is fitted into a recess of a steering shaft so that it is held in a locked condition.</p> |
