PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which is simple in structure and has an inexpensive grounding structure by executing the connection between shielding frames and a circuit board without soldering. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device 1 consists of the constitution obtained by housing the liquid crystal display unit 4 and the printed circuit board 5 having circuits for controlling the drive of the liquid crystal display unit in the conductive shielding frames 2 and 3 having a surface part and side wall parts. In such a case, the side wall parts (flanges) of the shielding frame 3 are provided with at least >= one point of rising notched parts from part thereof to at least a part of the surface part (rear plate) 14 from a part. Conductive spring members (coil springs) 21 are disposed in these rising notched parts, by which the electrical conduction between the printed circuit board 5 and the shielding frames 2 and 3 is obtained.
