PURPOSE: An automatic opening device for the door of a fuel injecting port is provided to automatically open the door for convenience and to prevent the door from being opened while the door is locked. CONSTITUTION: An automatic door opening device consists of a sensor unit(2a,2b) sensing the state of a door(1); an ECU(electronic control unit)(3) sensing a signal from the sensor unit; a drive unit(4) driven in the door with a signal from the ECU; and an operating unit(6) opening the door or an injecting port by the drive unit. To inject fuel, the door is released by rotating a cable to rotate a latch(9) and the ECU rotates a motor(10) forward to rotate two bevel gears(11a,11b). Then, a cap(5) is released from the injecting port to fill fuel. After filling fuel, the door is pushed and the ECU rotates the motor reversely to rotate the bevel gears reversely. Finally, a thread groove of the cap is combined with the injecting port and the door is automatically closed.
