WIDE AREA PURCHASING METHOD UTILIZING COMMUNICATION LINE, ITS DEVICE AND USER TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of service to purchasers and to increase the capacity for the number of users by improving the response speed of information supply to purchasers and information collection related to subsequent management independently of the limited processing speed of a center server or the limited transmission speed of a communication line. SOLUTION: Commodity sales information obtained from the center server 10 is transmitted by a communication line 1 through a regional server 12 and provided to a purchaser's user terminal 14 connected to the server 12 through a communication line 3. The server 12 collects purchaser information obtained from individual purchasers through the line 3 and transmits the obtained collected user information to the server 10 though the line 1. In the case of actually purchasing a commodity, the server 12 executes the order of the commodity to a commodity dealer and the settlement of accounts in a banking institution through the line 1 without utilizing the server 10. The datailed information of the purchaser is transmitted to the server 10 as batch processing at a time band of a small load.
