PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cassette for a coupling and fastening tool and a fastener driving machine capable of omitting the exhaust, cut, and throw processes for a holder band portion with a fastener removed. SOLUTION: A cassette 2 for a coupling and fastening tool used in a fastener driving machine using a fastener holding band consisting of a base in the form of a thin and long band and upright tabs formed in a pair at the two side edges of the base at a certain spacing is composed of a supply reel 86 for winding of a holder band portion where a fastener is coupled, a takeup reel 89 to take up the holder band portion having got rid of the fastener, a feed wheel 91 installed between the supply reel and takeup reel and sending out fasteners coupled with the holder band fed from the supply reel one by one to a supply opening 90 so as to feed the holder band having got rid of fastener to the takeup reel, and a housing 93 to accommodate the supply reel, takeup reel, and feel wheel together with the holder band. One end of a certain length of holder band 75 is fixed to the supply reel while the other end is fixed to the takeup reel, and the holder band is serviceable repetitively.
