PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a waterproof sheet obtained by successively laminating a water- absorbing layer, a water-retaining layer and a water-impermeable layer, which is thin with a large water retaining quantity and has a dry touch feeling even in water retaining by constituting the water-retaining layer by use of a mesh-like cloth. SOLUTION: In a waterproof sheet consisting of a water-absorbing layer 10, a water-retaining layer 20, and a water-impermeable layer 30, which are successively laminated, the water-retaining layer 20 is formed of a cloth having a mesh structure. Since the water absorbing layer 10 and the water retaining layer 20 are formed of a cloth having a two-layer structure to move the moisture from the water absorbing layer 10 to the water retaining layer 20 by use of capillary phenomenon, it is necessary to set a space between fibers constituting the water absorbing layer 10 larger than a fiber space of the water retaining layer 20. Therefore, the yarn constituting the water-absorbing layer 10 is preferably a wooly yarn 12. The water-impermeable layer 30 has a film form, and it is adhered to the water-retaining layer 20 side of the two- layer structure of the water absorbing layer 10 and water retaining layer 20 by lamination. The water impermeable layer 30 can be a film never transmitting water such as a polyurethane(PU) film 31 or a polyethylene film.
