<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent tampering which makes sealing look like executed properly by a method wherein a reinforcement rib is provided at the rear side of a claw piece at an insertion part and a claw part of a band body is formed in a trapezoidal section and its front end is reinforced therewith. SOLUTION: For a binding band wherein an elastically-deformative claw piece 4 projecting diagonally from an inlet 31 side to an outlet 32 side is provided at the inside of a cylindrical insertion part 3 formed integrally at a base 11 of a long flexible band body and a number of claw parts 5 are arranged successively in the shape of sawteeth at the reverse side of the band body, a rib 6 is provided integrally at the reverse side of the claw piece 4, extending from its base 41 to its front end 42. Furthermore, each of the claw parts 5 arranged in the sawteeth shape is formed in a trapezoidal section comprising a rise face 51, an inclined face 52 and a wide top face 54 connecting the front ends of the rise face and the inclined face. Thereby, an expected sealability can be obtained in an environment of high temperature and high humidity even though the binding band is formed integrally of a synthetic resin having hygroscopicity such as nylon 66.</p> |
