<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive an optimum signal in a receiving state by deciding an encoding signal, which can be decoded rightly, out of signals encoded at a transmission rate, decoding an encode signal separated extracted by the identification signal of the encode signal to a video signal and an audio signal, and displaying or outputting the decoded video signal and audio signal. SOLUTION: Based on program identification information generated by a program information generating part 112, a separation extracting part 110 extracts identification control information from a multiple signal demodulated by a receiving part 108. When a detected C/N value is larger than a necessary C/N value, the part 110 extracts the encode signal of a high picture mode. When the detected C/N value is smaller than the necessary C/N value, the part 110 extracts identification information of the encode signal of a standard picture mode, and a separate-extracting signal deciding part 111 decides identification information of the encode signal to separately extract. The extracted encode signal is decoded to video and voice for output.</p> |
