<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate production of resealable plastic bags by a method wherein a packaging film supplied from a supply roll is folded in a C-shape, and side edges being put together of the packaging film are welded integrally with a zipper supplied thereto, and then packaging bodies are separated individually. SOLUTION: A packaging film 12 drawn out from a supply roller 14 is fed upward via a guide roll 16 toward a folding member 18 having first and second folding edges 20 and 22. A part 28 of the packaging film 12 is raised and folded by action of a wedge-like member 26 arranged on the folding member 18, the packaging film 12 is fed to a horizontal machine 10 for forming, filling and sealing. In this case, both of side edges 34 and 36 of the packaging film 12 are superimposed and folded into a C-shape by an inclined folding guide 32 provided at the downstream of the folding member 18. Then, a zipper 38 is supplied from a supply reel to a position between the superimposed side edges 34 and 36, and welded integrally with the packaging film 12.</p> |
