PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dead angle information by which distance sensation can easily be grasped by adding an inclination in the forward/backward direction of a reference attitude in accordance with forward/backward positions and installing an image pickup device in the arranging position of a vehicle in an attitude for taking the edge part of the vehicle. SOLUTION: The bumper corner part 90' of driver's own vehicle is positioned at the center lower part of a screen on a camera CFL and a video where the white line WLL of a road face parallel to driver's own vehicle crosses the screen in a left lower part (or right upper part) from a right upper (or left upper) direction in a diagonal line form. The camera is installed in an attitude where the inclination is given around an optical axis as the device of an installation attitude. A clockwise inclination is given to the camera left of the vehicle by twisting it right around and optical axis. In the direction of the screen, a forward direction is adjusted to the feeling of a driver. To put it concretely, a picture PFL is the picture of the camera CFL installed at the left front corner part. The image of the left front corner part 90' is taken at a right lower corner and the image of a white line W'LL on a straight line in the forward direction is taken in the straight line in the direction to an obliquely right upward from a screen center lower part.
