PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To handle a thin-film like electrolyte as a solid electrolyte and use the same as an electrochemical element of a desired shape by impregnating a porous film with a reversible sol-gel electrolyte composition formed of a reversible gelling agent, an electrolytic salt, and a solvent for the electrolytic salt. SOLUTION: This thin-film like electrolyte is formed by impregnating a porous film with a reversible sol-gel electrolytic composition. The reversible gelling agent uses materials of one group known as an oil gelling agent in addition to polymer, oligomer which is dissolved in a solvent in a higher temperature area above the room temperature (25 deg.C), but solidified at a room temperature to reversibly form a gel, especially polymer and oligomer having polar group such as an ether group, a hydroxyl group in molecule. As a favorable concrete example of an oil gelling agent, used is 12-hydroxy stearic acid or the like. |
