PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily conduct confirmation for an operation in a condition of a semiconductor chip single body without increasing the number of terminals for the confirmation, in a semiconductor device constituted combinedly with plural semiconductor chips. SOLUTION: This semiconductor device is constituted by chip-on-chip-joining a master chip 1 with a slave chip 2. An internal circuit C1 of the master chip 1 is connected to an internal circuit C2 of the slave chip 2 via an interchip connecting part T1. The internal circuit C2 leads out an output signal to an external connection pad 12 formed in the master chip 1 via an interchip connecting part T2. When the slave chip 2 is not connected to the master chip 1, An NAND gate G3 passes an output signal of the internal circuit C1. The output signal is led out to the external connection part T2 through an AND gate G1. When a test prove is brought into contact with the external connection part T2, confirmation of an operation is thereby possible by the master chip 1 only. |
