ANTENNA FOR ON-VEHICLE RADAR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna for an on-vehicle radar in which the effect of reflected waves from a road surface is reduced with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A rectangular patch antenna 16 is formed on the front side of a dielectric board 10 constituting a primary radiator, and a ground electrode 24 is formed on the entire face around the patch antenna except a dielectric exposure part 18. A feeder 22 that is a slot line converted from a tip opposed to the patch antenna 16 is formed to the rear side of the dielectric board 10. The shape of the electric field direction of the beam pattern of the primary radiator is made asymmetrical through interference between an electromagnetic wave emitted from the patch antenna 16 fed via the feeder 22 that is the slot line converted from the tip and an electromagnetic wave emitted from the feeder 22 leaked to the front side of the dielectric board 10 via the dielectric exposure 18.
