PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electric machine whose rotor is made lightweight and whose costs are reduced by a method wherein a ring magnetic-pole part is formed and spoke wires which are crossed in radial directions are used as a plurality of support rods by which the ring magnetic-pole part is supported at a rotor shaft. SOLUTION: The ring magnetic-pole part 1 of a rotor 4 is supported by a rotor shaft 2 via a plurality of spoke wires 3a which are crossed with radial directions. As a result, the number of spoke wires 3a can be made large as compared with a case in which support rods extended in radial directions are used. The load per spoke wire 3a can be reduced. In addition, the cross-sectional area in a direction at right angles to the longitudinal direction of every spoke wire 3a can be reduced sharply as compared with the case in which the support rods extended in the radial directions are used. As a result, without lowering the support rigidity of the ring magnetic-pole part 1, the rotor 4 can be made lightweight as compared with the case in which the support rods extended in the radial directions are used, and the costs of this electric machine can be reduced.
