PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device making paper dust surely removed even in the case of adopting acidic paper as transfer material, and being free from the occurrence of filming on a photoreceptor or an intermediate transfer body. SOLUTION: On a leading end part of urethane sheet 82 composed of the urethane rubber, non-woven cloth 81 is affixed by double coated adhesive tape, and the urethane sheet 82 is affixed by double coated adhesive tape on the top surface of a holder 83, so that the trailing end part of the urethane sheet 82 is held in contact with a positioning project part 84 on the holder 83. The length of this urethane sheet 82 and the position of the positioning project part 84 is respectively set so that the non-woven cloth 81 is held in contact with the photosensitive drum in a state of loosening the urethane sheet 82. Moreover, the loosening direction is made to match with the rotary direction of the photoreceptor drum 20. In this way, the paper dust removing device is constituted.
